AG5 has designed a new ambulatory building in the Ballerup Center for Psychiatry for Region Hovedstaden. The new building is part of a series of similar one-storey buildings connected by walkways or paths. Large amounts of daylight, which are added to the rooms via skylights and relatively low sitting windows in the outer walls, give the building an open and welcoming atmosphere, which the building's users value highly in the evaluations that have subsequently been carried out. The purpose of the project was to establish new modern ambulatories with a bright and friendly atmosphere for patients, guests and staff. The project was developed in close collaboration with Region Hovedstadens Psychiatry, PCB (user groups) and the client consultant, Lilholm & Partners.
