The renovation of Bytorv Horsens is completed after an extensive remodeling inside and out with AG5 as main architectural advisor. Concepts were developed in cooperation with architect Terry Evenden that has expertise in shopping center design. A textile-like pattern of brick baguettes in classic brick tones, gives the building a warm expression, sympathetic to neighboring buildings and the city fabric. The new facade incorporates new openings, portals and a brand-new graphic identity which bring human scale to otherwise large uninterrupted facades typical to shopping centers. The concept for the facade project is to strengthen the visual identity of the shopping center by creating a coherent connection between multiple facades and entrances. Wayfinding and sign design integrated in the project in collaboration with Punktum Design.
